The publishing industry requires reliable, fast and cost efficient postal services for the delivery of their printed works.

 

In the light of the competition between public and private service providers, postal services have improved. Increasingly, electronic delivery is becoming a viable alternative for the delivery of works, in particular for scholarly journals.
