On 4 March 2020, WIPO published the latest edition of our joint report on international publishing industry statistics. 

It is of critical importance that publishers are able to measure the size of our industry. Without such data, it makes lobbying government and other authorities much more difficult.

For three years the IPA has partnered with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to gather such statistics and each year the resulting report improves in scope and depth.
