The EPF open meeting in Frankfurt more lively than ever

On Friday, 13 October 2017 at the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Educational Publishers Forum held its annual open meeting. Despite the date, we had no bad luck at all. On the contrary! The meeting was one of our most successful with over 50 people in the audience and more questions than ever.

We thank our four excellent speakers for attracting this attention and interest, and for those who could not join us we attach the slides and speeches.

Moderated by Wilmar Diepgrond, Chair, and Jaume Vicens, Vice-Chair of the Educational Publishers Forum, the panel comprised:
Tomás García, Editorial Director, Grupo Patria Cultural (Mexico), “The Mexican textbook market: an overview”;
Anne Bergman-Tahon, Director, Federation of European Publishers (Belgium), “EU copyright review – a tsunami on the horizon, or just a cloud?”;
Zeynep Atiker, Foreign Relations Executive, Turkish Publishers Association (Turkey), “Educational publishing in Turkey”; and
Anders Hyldig, Head of Publishing, Clio Online (Denmark), “A digital paradigm shift in Denmark”.
