The IPA is very happy to publish an extract from the contribution by IPA Secretary General, José Borghino, and Chair of the IPA’s Freedom to Publish Committee, Kristenn Einarsson, to the book Publishers on Publishing, which was published during the IPA Congress in New Delhi earlier this year.
Having spoken passionately at the IPA’s Freedom to Publish Seminar at the London Book Fair, Azadeh Parsapour, the London-based Iranian publisher behind Nogaam ePublishing will contribute regular posts for the IPA on the current challenges faced by publishers in Iran.
The IPA’s first Freedom to Publish Seminar at the London Book Fair took place on the opening day and saw a packed room listen to the sometimes-frightening challenges many publishers face around the world.
