A crucial part of IPA's mission is to inform member associations and the wider global publishing community about breaking developments which will impact publishers. We do this through a number of channels. the IPA website, our monthly e-newsletter, press releases and the IPA's dedicated social media feeds.
33rd International Publishers Congress Logo

Early bird registrations for the 33rd International Publishers Congress close on 31 December. Check out the comprehensive programme online and find out in our series of interviews why publishing professionals from around the world will be coming. 

IPA announced the opening of the of the Congress as part of the Norway Guest of Honour programme at Frankfurt Book Fair. The Congress will take place from 28-30 May 2020 in Lillehammer Norway.

IPA Vice-President, Bodour Al Qasimi and Managing Director of the Norwegian Publishers Association, Kristenn Einarsson delivered a short presentation highlighting some of the key elements of the programme so far:

  • A dual track programme on day 2 with educational publishing receiving a special focus
  • The publication of 7 reports ahead of the Congress to drive discussions
