Ola Wallin, the IPA's new Freedom to Publish Committee Chair, has highlighted Turkey's failures to protect freedom of expression and freedom to publish, calling attention to the continued detention of Deniz Zarakolu.
A crucial part of IPA's mission is to inform member associations and the wider global publishing community about breaking developments which will impact publishers. We do this through a number of channels. the IPA website, our monthly e-newsletter, press releases and the IPA's dedicated social media feeds.
This year meeting was moderated by Graham Taylor, Chair of the IPA's Educational Publishers Forum.
This year Anti-Piracy Breakfast, hosted by the International Publishers Association, the Association of American Publishers and The Publishers Association (UK) was moderated by Jens Bammel, IPA Secretary General.
