A crucial part of IPA's mission is to inform member associations and the wider global publishing community about breaking developments which will impact publishers. We do this through a number of channels. the IPA website, our monthly e-newsletter, press releases and the IPA's dedicated social media feeds.
Today the International Publishers Association (IPA) has sent a letter to James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages and to Tony Clement, Minister of Industry containing a detailed critique of C-32, the copyright Bill, which will soon be sent to a parliamentary committee for in-depth study and to hear testimony of expert witnesses and industry stakeholders, and copyright consumers.

The 7th IPA Copyright Symposium closed this week in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). For two days more than 270 registered participants and global experts from 53 nations discussed copyright and publishing policy issues.
