One of publishing’s most important market sectors is education. Some of the biggest publishers in the world today are educational publishers which deliver resources in a variety of forms: textbooks and open educational resources, structured and flexible, digital, print and blended, public and commercial.

The IPA monitors and influences the evolution of this vital sector through our Educational Publishers Forum,  which promotes the value of educational publishing as well as coordinating lobbying activities with and on behalf of our member associations.

Educational Publishers Forum

IPA’s Educational Publisher Forum is the only global forum that brings together professional educational publishers from around the world to explore how we can provide the learning resources that teachers need to best implement local curricula. We stand for choice, local solutions and collaboration.

The Forum holds three to four meetings each year with delegates and guest speakers at rotating venues as well as an annual open meeting at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
