The IPA is able to do more international advocacy and capacity building thanks in part to partnerships, which amplify our impact through the combination of diverse expertise and knowledge, and extended reach. We are grateful to our partners for their trust, and proud to work with them for common goals that stand to benefit millions of people.
This configuration, supported by the IPA’s large, openhanded member network, enables a collaborative, flexible approach to program delivery that means the IPA punches well above its weight. As well as our core mission to promote copyright and freedom to publish, other challenges we address together include development of publishing ecosystems, boosting literacy rates and reading culture, and making books universally accessible, in particular to the visually impaired and print disabled.
